With the gondola it is easy to reach the fortress mountain, where you can observe the stunning 900 year old Hohensalzburg fortress. From here you also have a wonderful view of Salzburg and the whole region.
And also for fans of The Sound of Music our Salzburg Tour from Munich is just the right thing. Not only the real Trapp family lived in Salzburg, the film classic was also shot here and in the surrounding area. With our Munich to Salzburg Day Trip you can trace the footsteps of Maria von Trapp and Julie Andrews. On our Munich to Salzburg Day Trip you will be accompanied by experienced guides. The Salzburg Tour starts at the Radius Tours Office at Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) opposite tracks 32-34. Please do not forget to bring your passport or ID. Our guides will take you on a two-hour train ride from Munich to Salzburg (Austria) and back.
On the Salzburg Day Tour from Munich our English speaking guide provides you with important information and interesting stories. You will receive a city map and a 1.5 hour guided tour to the most important sights. Afterwards you have the possibility to explore Salzburg by yourself for three hours. Our guide will be happy to help you and give you advice for interesting places and things to do in the city.
